The International Sea Kayak Guide Alliance is the first commercial/professional guiding organisation to operate on a global level. It is a modular system which has been developed to meet the needs of the professional sea kayak guide, operating in remote wilderness environments.
The ISKGA program is a modular system which has been created by industry experts; the RNLI, the Royal Marines, Wilderness Medicine, Doctors and paramedics, and sea survival trainers. They have all contributed to the system. If you ever wondered where to go next after completing your NGB awards or wish to enter the industry and to guide others in beautiful remote environments, maybe ISKGA has the answer for you.
Expedition Paddler runs the complete ISKGA program and holds two intensive guide training programs per year.
See below for a list of ISKGA courses now available
The ISKGA Coastal Guide training program runs over a four to five week period and follows the ISKGA modular system.
